Who is hardware concepts?

We believe anyone is capable of creating an insta worthy home, we offer the latest hardware the best quality for the best price.

We are a group of mums based on the sunny Gold Coast, Australia who have all taken the building journey and know how challenging finding the right products can be.

We are constantly bombarded by images of drool-worthy homes on all forms of Social Media and Pinterest, but as soon as we take that renovation leap we find our visions slowly narrowed as we struggle to find affordable quality options that won’t require you to take out a second mortgage.

By this frustration we decided to create Hardware Concepts - probably the first hardware business run completely by women.

The Original Arch Door

When we started Hardware Concepts, arch doors didn’t exist in Australia Not off the shelf. We knew they had the power to transform a space, but we also knew they had to be built to last.

The journey wasn’t smooth. In our early days, many doors didn’t meet the high standards we set for ourselves. We tested, redesigned, and yes — we issued many replacements rather than deliver a product that wasn’t right. For us, protecting our customers’ trust was more important than a quick sale.

Those challenges became our strength. Each failure and replacement taught us something and pushed us to refine the design further. After nearly a year of constant improvement, we finally created an arch door that delivered on everything we promised: strength, proportion, and timeless design.

That door didn’t just meet expectations — it set a new benchmark in Australia. Others may now copy the look, but none can replicate the story, the persistence, or the commitment to doing right by our customers that created the original.
